Inaugural 2015 Cyber Cup Invitational

MADISON, ALABAMA, January 26, 2015 - - As CyberProtex continues its work as the Tennessee Valley’s premiere provider of cyber security training and solutions, it is pleased to announce that it has sponsored the North Alabama Chapter of the ISSA - Inaugural 2015 Cyber Cup Invitational. This sponsorship allows CyberProtex to continue to promote training "exercises" that foster hands-on cyber security continuing education.

The company was founded in 2012 by its CEO and lead instructor, cyber security expert Benjamin McGee MS-Cyber, CISSP, CEH|I, MCTS, who has certified well over 200 people in the Tennessee Valley.

Location: Dynetics Solutions Complex
Description: Cyber Cup Invitational is a "Capture the Flag" style event that will be a fun and educational training event.
The Cyber Cup Invitational will be held on 6 February 2015 at Dynetics, 1002 Explorer Blvd. and will encompass a full day of cyber challenges. The event will be split into a morning and afternoon session that will require individuals to collect points based on how far they are able to traverse through the network and the afternoon session will bring individuals into a team setting to collect team points. There will be both a "professional" and "student" class and the highest aggregate score of each class will be awarded a "Cyber Cup"!!
The total cost for each participant is $50 and will cover the cost of lunch and a Cyber Cup Invitational T-shirt. The Cyber Cup Invitational is limited to 50 participants, and you can sign up with the 123signup link below:

During this competition, participants must bring their own machine and can use ANY open source and freely available commercial products that they choose. The only limitation is that participants MAY NOT USE full commercial products.
