CyberProtex LLC was founded in 2012 with the vision to bring world class cybersecurity training, managed cybersecurity services, and providing cybersecurity and risk management mitigation solutions to organizations around the United States. CyberProtex's niche is delivering high-end enterprise Microsoft migrations, providing incident response, and developing custom cybersecurity services to Fortune 500 companies.

​Headquartered in Rocket City USA, Huntsville, Alabama, CyberProtex assists in securing commercial clients and the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) by providing guidance for NIST CSF, CMMC, DFARS, and the RMF Compliance. CyberProtex office is located at the "High Tech" hub the Invention to Innovation Center (I2C) on the campus of the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). CyberProtex provides managed security services, secure software and application development, and advanced hands-on cybersecurity training for companies all across the nation. ​Ben McGee
​​President and CEO

Benjamin McGee, is a leader in cybersecurity software and systems engineer arena. Ben began slinging code on an Atari 800XL computer at 10 years old and hasn't looked back since. He has spoken at over 100 cybersecurity events across the United States and is an educator, cyber innovator, and a dedicated cyber mentor to the next generation of Cyber Warriors.

Mr. McGee holds a Masters of Science from New York University (NYU) Polytechnic School of Engineering and attended the University of Florida for his Undergraduate Degree. Prior to founding CyberProtex, Ben was a Chief Scientist for SAIC where he was decorated with many awards including the "Trailblazer" award for cybersecurity. Ben has also worked with the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), SAIC, the U.S. Army Software Engineering Directorate, NASA at the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), Raymond James Financial Headquarters, and Benefit1 Healthcare of America.

Mr. McGee has helped certify over 3,000 Cybersecurity professionals all over the United States.

Melissa Van Kampen, MCP
​Operations Manager

Mrs. Van Kampen is the Operations Manager at CyberProtex, where she oversees daily operations, proposal development, and federal contract administration. A Microsoft Certified Professional with a Bachelor's degree from Florida Atlantic University, she brings a strong background in Human Resources, Bookkeeping, and Logistics. 

Shelbie Rose, MCP
Client Journey Specialist

Shelbie Rose brings over 10 years of experience in Information Technology. Mrs. Rose holds a MCP and is our Client Journey Specialist. 

Sam Shook, MCP
​Cybersecurity Specialist

Sam Shook has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in Information Systems, with emphasis in Cybersecurity, and is a Microsoft Certified Professional. He has a background in vulnerability assessments and remediation. He enjoys spending his free time playing pool and being outdoors.

Joseph Glenn has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in Information Systems, with emphasis in Cybersecurity, and is a Microsoft Certified Professional. He is a Marine Corps Veteran has a background in Security and Compliance.

Lead Software Security Engineer 

Robert is a Microsoft Certified Professional, a Certified PHP and MYSQL Developer and has extensive experience developing and delivering software applications Apache, PHP, Drupal, WordPress and MySQL products and related network.
