CyberProtex provided expert instruction to develop Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) for rising 8th grade girls at the College of Engineering at UAH. Together with AAUW Huntsville and The University of Alabama in Huntsville, CyberProtex partnered with the Huntsville community in delivering and supporting STEM education for the week long event.

Developing the Cyber Security Workforce of Tomorrow!

CyberProtex volunteered to develop this program for the MadCityCyber initiative in Madison City Schools at Discovery Middle.

Each Tuesday, CyberProtex volunteers helped design and develop the curriculum for the next generation of the cyber security workforce. Our expert volunteers promote security awareness through hands-on training.

Special Event - Digital Forensics

Join CyberProtex and MAD Security as we partner up for the cyber security training event of the year!

Cyber Security experts, Jeremy Conway and Ben McGee will deliver a full day of digital forensics training. Mr. Conway will focus on Network Forensics and Mr. McGee will deliver Mobile Device Forensics.

This one day training will be held Friday, April 17, 2015, 8am - 5pm, at the Jackson Center in Research Park, Huntsville, AL.

This sponsorship allows CyberProtex to continue to promote training "exercises" that foster hands-on cyber security continuing education.

Location: Dynetics Solutions Complex
Description: Cyber Cup Invitational is a "Capture the Flag" style event that will be a fun and educational training event.
The Cyber Cup Invitational will be held on 6 February 2015 at Dynetics, 1002 Explorer Blvd. and will encompass a full day of cyber challenges. The event will be split into a morning and afternoon session that will require individuals to collect points based on how far they are able to traverse through the network and the afternoon session will bring individuals into a team setting to collect team points. There will be both a "professional" and "student" class and the highest aggregate score of each class will be awarded a "Cyber Cup"!!
The total cost for each participant is $50 and will cover the cost of lunch and a Cyber Cup Invitational T-shirt. The Cyber Cup Invitational is limited to 50 participants, and you can sign up with the 123signup link below:

During this competition, participants must bring their own machine and can use ANY open source and freely available commercial products that they choose. The only limitation is that participants MAY NOT USE full commercial products.
